Truck and Van Specialties, Inc. was started in 1996 by Dakota Jones and continues to be a family owned and operated business today.  The original store was converted after purchasing the old Georgetown Fire Station located near the corner of 48th Avenue and Bauer Road in Hudsonville.  Dakota ran the business and his father-in-law made deliveries.  His primary line was autobody panels and he grew to sell accessories due to customer demand.  While we remained a small family business, we added two employees.

 

In 2005, we moved to our current location on Chicago Drive in Zeeland and went from a 2000 square foot building to a 9600 building and added three installation bays.  This expansion provided us the opportunity to enhance our service to our customers by performing alignments, installs and mechanical work in addition to retail sales. We now have eight employees, including Dakota’s wife Julianne and son Colton.
